We are a one form entry primary school, our published admissions number (PAN) is 30. We also have a nursery class with an admission of 26 pupils aged 3-4yrs. There are currently 209 pupils on roll. If you would like your child to attend our school, please come and have a tour with Mrs Spain the Head Teacher.
Anglian Learning is the admissions authority as we are part of Anglian Learning, Multi Academy Trust, however we follow the Local Authority arrangements regarding admissions and appeals.
Further details regarding the admission arrangements are below.
There are 190 teaching days in the academic year and the school term dates are agreed by Cambridgeshire and set for community schools including Stapleford School. Term time holidays are not permitted unless there is an exceptional circumstance. All applications for a leave of absence should be made in writing. If a child already has attendance of less than 96%, the request will be refused.
Attendance is rated as excellent if it is 99% or 100%.
In recent years the attendance figure at Stapleford Community Primary School (SCPS) has improved, but not quite as much as the national figure.

Attendance of less than 95% represents over 100 hours of lost learning time. Stapleford Community Primary School has high ambitions for all pupils and aims for every child to have an attendance figure greater than 96%.
Unless a child is genuinely poorly, they should attend school regularly.
