Who are we?
The governors of Stapleford Community Primary School are appointed by the Anglian Learning Trust Board, elected by parents and carers or elected by staff.
All members of the Governing Body team are committed and active in promoting and supporting the high quality teaching and learning in school and provide a strategic vision for continuous improvement.
The collective expertise and experience of our current governors and associate members includes management consultant, operations management, teaching, senior educational management, law, marketing, business management, medical consultancy and training.

What do we do?
The Governing Body works closely with the Headteacher in the strategic leadership of the school, and holds the school to account for the education it provides for the pupils.
The Local Governing Body meets at least once each half term. Committees may meet ahead of full meetings to focus on resources and financial management. Link governors visit school regularly to monitor areas targeted for school improvement and they report to the Local Governing Body
The finalised minutes of meetings are available in a file at the school office and below.
Governors are always happy to talk with parents and any interested person about the school.
To contact the Chair of Governors, please ask at the School Office for details.
