Exciting news! Here at Stapleford School we are not going to allow a global pandemic get in the way of us celebrating our Sports Day together. It is one of the great events in our school calendar and highly anticipated. However, we do have to be safe and responsible, so this year we are going virtual!
On Thursday 2nd July the children will take part in sporting challenges at school and at home. There are 15 fun challenges for the whole family to enjoy. Please see the challenges in the home learning section of the website. For every activity that the children photograph/video themselves doing (submit via Google Classroom or Tapestry) they will be awarded 5 house points. We will then collate all of the videos and pictures sent in to create a film to celebrate this event. There will be certificates for participation – the more activities they send in, the more points they will get for their house. But, as a national supermarket says, every little helps, so even if they are only able to complete one activity it will still make a difference.
When you are recording activities please can you encourage your child to either wear a T-shirt in their house colours or fancy dress. Please do submit all photos and videos by Monday 6th July.
Hope you have fun!
