The pupil premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.
Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.
In 2020-2021 Stapleford Community Primary School will receive approximately £15,000 as an additional grant to help assist pupils who missed schooling due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, to catch up with missed learning.
It is intended that the grant will enable pupils who have gaps in their learning as identified by their class teachers and from NFER tests, to receive some interventions. These will include some provided by the National Tutoring Programme such as Third Space Learning, and others delivered in school by school staff.
If your child does not have Free School Meals, but may be eligible because of your family’s income level, please contact the school office (in confidence) to register them. Even if you do not wish them to have the meals, this would still mean that the school could claim the Pupil Premium funding available to help your child.
All matters regarding the use of Pupil Premium funds are treated with discretion and in confidence.
