What have Year 6 been up to this term?

Hakuna Matata!

Year 6 had a wonderful time at the Lyceum Theatre, London watching the world famous 'The Lion King'. They have returned full of ideas and inspiration for their own performance of the story in July.

Grafham Galore!

Year 6 visit the Cambridge Buddhist Centre on 21st February.

Year 6 and Reception children hosted their very own 'Reading Café' and all hands were on deck to serve the many customers delicious cake and tea!

Storms and Shipwrecks

Stunning Start

Year 6 became ship designers and builders this week as part of the stunning start to their new topic - Storms and Shipwrecks.

The pupils worked in groups to research and learn about their choice of ship from whatever era they wanted. They were then tasked with building a model of their ship and were also asked to be ready to explain their decision making on their design features.

It was a very industrious time and there were many fantastic creations ...
